No legal maze. These are the terms that govern your bookings and your account — written the way we’d want to read them ourselves.
Who we are
Book My Rishikesh (“we”, “us”) is a travel concierge service based in Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India. We arrange packages, wellness retreats, yoga programs, and individual experiences in and around Rishikesh. By using this website or making a booking, you agree to these terms.
Bookings & pricing
A booking made on this site reserves your trip with a deposit — the exact amount is shown in rupees at checkout before you pay, or a flat starting deposit for flexible, custom-built trips. On packages and retreats you may instead pay in full at the time of booking and receive 5% off. Your host then confirms the exact plan and the final all-inclusive price with you personally on WhatsApp before any further payment. The price you are told is the price you pay; your deposit always counts toward it.
Package prices shown are per person unless stated otherwise. Add-on experiences carry fixed prices shown before you book.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or banking details. On packages and retreats, the remaining balance after your deposit is settled directly with your host, as agreed with you on WhatsApp. For yoga teacher training, the balance after your deposit is paid directly to the yoga school when you arrive — we do not collect it.
Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation terms are stated in full on our Cancellation Policy page: 100% deposit refund 7+ days before arrival, 50% between 3–7 days, and no refund under 3 days — with a human review for genuine emergencies. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Accounts are personal to you.
Experiences & assumption of risk
Some experiences — white-water rafting, trekking, waterfall visits, adventure activities — carry inherent risks that no operator can fully remove. Licensed local operators run these activities with safety equipment and briefings; by joining, you accept those inherent risks and agree to follow safety instructions. Tell us about medical conditions in advance, and we’ll shape the plan around them.
What we're responsible for
We arrange and coordinate your trip with care, and we stand behind our service. We aren’t liable for events beyond anyone’s reasonable control — weather, landslides, road closures, strikes, or acts of third parties — though we’ll always help you re-plan when they happen. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected booking.
Fair use of the website
Don’t misuse the site: no false bookings, no attempts to break or probe our systems, no scraping other guests’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand, India.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, the new version applies from the date noted below. Material changes will be flagged to account holders by email.
