Sit by the river
as the day ends.
One guided evening sitting — no course, no commitment.
Meditation in Rishikesh is easy to find and hard to choose well. This is the sitting our own retreat guests join: 7:30 PM, by the water, guided by someone who has done it long enough to know when to stop talking.
Come once, come every evening you are here, or come once and decide it is not for you. All three are fine, and none of them costs you anything beyond the evenings you actually attend.
Course fee ₹1,000 — hold your seat with a ₹300 deposit, balance paid to your school on arrival.
- Final price confirmed before any further payment

Evening Meditation by the Ganga
7:30 to 8:15 PM, every evening. The same sitting our retreat guests join.
Class time is fixed: 7:30 – 8:15 PM. ₹1,000 per person per session — ₹1,000 for 1 x 1, paid in full at booking.
Quiet, guided,
and genuinely optional.
A sitting, not a syllabus — the same evening practice that anchors every retreat day here, opened up to anyone in town.
How it works
One evening sitting, no course, no commitment. You join the same 7:30 PM riverside meditation our retreat guests attend, guided by a teacher who says just enough and then lets the river do the rest.
No experience needed
You do not need to be able to 'clear your mind' — nobody can, and no honest teacher will tell you otherwise. You need somewhere to sit and someone to guide you, which is exactly what this is.
The end of the day, on purpose
Evening is deliberate. It comes after the day has already happened, when the mind has something to settle from, rather than first thing when it has not started yet.
For guests who want
one quiet hour
Anyone who has tried an app and stopped
Guests who have started meditating alone three times and stopped three times. Sitting with other people, with someone guiding, is a different thing entirely.
Travellers with full days
Guests whose days are already busy with rafting, temples and walking, and who want one quiet hour that asks nothing of them.
Practitioners keeping the thread
Regulars who do not want their practice to pause just because they are travelling — the same sitting, in a place that suits it.
Your host does the finding.
You just practice.
Rishikesh has more classes on offer than any visitor can sensibly compare. Your host already knows which teachers are worth your morning — the same honest, host-led approach behind every BMR journey, pointed at a single class instead of a whole course.
- 1.Pick your class — drop-in or private, yoga or meditation — how many sessions, and your dates.
- 2.You practise with our own in-house teacher, the same one who leads our retreat mornings — not a stranger from a listing.
- 3.Sessions are scheduled around your day, and easy to move when your plans change — this is a holiday, after all.
- 4.Prices are fixed and shown upfront — ₹1,000 a drop-in, ₹2,000 a private, per person per session, paid in full when you book.
- Genuinely certified, internationally recognized programs only
- Teaching staff and facilities checked before we recommend anyone
- Accommodation, orientation, and logistics arranged around the course
- A personal host for everything outside the classroom
We’re not a yoga school — we’re the trusted way to find the right one, with a personal host handling everything around the practice.
If this speaks to you, so will these.
200-Hour TTC
The internationally recognised certification most teachers start with.
