Overview
The giant swing drops you off a high platform at Shivpuri and swings you out in a huge arc over the valley, part free-fall, part swing. You go together, side by side, as a pair or a group of three. You're all harnessed and checked, then released together. The first drop is the free-fall, then the long swing out and back. It's over quickly and it's an easy, shared one. Meeting the limits doesn't guarantee the ride: the crew make the final call on the day based on your health and harness fit.

Who can ride
Ages 12 and up, each rider 40 to 100 kg. Meeting these doesn't guarantee the ride: the crew decide on the day on your health and harness fit.
If you have a health condition
Heart conditions, high blood pressure, recent surgery, pregnancy, back or neck problems, or epilepsy can rule it out. Tell us at booking and be honest with the crew.
Timings and weather
It runs daily roughly 10 AM to 9 PM, but weather and queues move the actual times, so keep room in your day.

Run with a licensed local team
This runs with a licensed local adventure operator with trained crew and proper, checked safety gear. Your BMR host sorts the booking, the timing and the day around you, so you just turn up ready.
Common questions
How much is it?
Rs. 2,500 for two riders and Rs. 3,000 for three, side by side on the same swing. Pick your group size when you book.
How high is it?
The operator's own page lists it between 45 and 55 m, so we say roughly 50 m rather than quote a single number we can't stand behind. It's a big drop into a long swing over the valley.
Who can't ride?
Ages 12 and up, each rider 40 to 100 kg. Not suitable with a heart condition, high blood pressure, recent surgery, a back or neck problem, epilepsy, or if you're pregnant.
Do I need to book ahead?
Tell your host your date and we'll confirm your slot. Shivpuri gets busy at weekends and in season.
