September to November is the best of it
The monsoon has cleared, the hills are at their greenest and the forest waterfalls run hardest. From July to mid-September the same hill roads carry a real landslide risk, so anything up in them gets more buffer and fewer fixed times — we will say that before you book, not on the morning. And sunrise here means leaving in the dark.
